The DJ-296T features, alpha display, 4.5 watt output, 160 memories plus call channel, 9 autodialer memories, battery saver function, cable cloning function, direct frequency entry, auto power off with Morse alert, mosquito repel sound function, direct keypad frequency entry, backlit display and keypad, monitor and low power transmit keys and time-out timer. The DJ-296T also has extended receive from 216 to 250 MHz (FM). The DJ-296T also features a backlit keypad.
