The Honda Hoot  (June 22 - 26, 2004)

The Honda Hoot is held in Knoxville Tennessee the third week of June each year.  With over 22 thousand registered for this years event, it is one of the largest shows in the Midwest.  The  follow photos are taken around the Knoxville area at various events.

Friday night Museum of the Appalachia Party as hundreds of bikes fill the fields.
The following are some of the rustic buildings on the property.
The locals play come good old country music.
Some mighty tall corn, had to be 12 feet high.
The blacksmith making crafts for the gift shop.
The party tent awaits.  A barbecue dinner was served to all who attended.  Yumm, some mighty good food Y'all.
And some mighty good music from one of the local Blue Grass bands.

With traffic backed up 20 miles and 5 of these (quarry dump truck load beds) to pass...
it took over 90 minutes to get around them all.  Taking both lanes of North bound I75 we had to pass in the shoulder when the escort vehicle would allow.
